Welcome to Stables Function Venue

I bought Mountain View Farm in November 2004. It was known as Mountain View Stud Farm & the Stables housed 9 horses.

The entire smallholding, excluding the house and Big Barn/Workshop, was divided into Paddocks for the horses.

We started with the development and changed the Barn/Workshop into a pub and restaurant. We also decided to convert the stables into a function venue without changing the original stables as it stood.

"The Stables" houses up to 120 people per function, including a small dancefloor. The individual stables alone seat 72 people, with the rest of the seating in the centre around the dance floor. With it's warm rustic appeal it is an ideal venue for anything from 35 to 100 people.

The Stables also work well for those family functions where different age groups are thrown together.
